Student Development Guidelines – w.e.f. 1/4/2017

If we recognize that individual students have different 'intelligences' it is logical to allow them to develop these different talents through a combination of projects & learning methodologies which help them in their development.

Research suggests that many of us remember:

  • 10% of what we read
  • 20% of what we hear
  • 30% of what we see
  • 70% of what we discuss with others
  • 80% of what we experience by doing

It is also important to understand that we are catering to the learning needs of Gen Z largely (or the post millennials, also called as 'Digital Natives') who largely use their tablets or Mobiles to learn and keep in touch with the world and are very internet savvy. Budding Futures plan to use these commonly used tools by Gen Z appropriately in the development of students. Therefore, comes the Blended Learning which combines traditional class room methods as well as Digital media for the purpose. While student will still attend "brick-and- mortar" schools with a teacher present, face-to-face classroom practices are combined with computer mediated activities regarding content and delivery. Blended learning is also used in professional development and training settings.
